My story: I moved to Fort Myers back in Jan of 2020, looking for that Florida life. All year nice weather, swimming pools and a fresh start. I work from home so I didn’t get a chance to explore more of Florida as much as I hoped. Being alone and single stopped me from wanting to go out as much as I hoped.
I hear this same story from people of all ages who move here. Most are transplants and love their homes and life, but desire making new friends outside of their community.
My goal for Connections41:
- Host events for people to meet, interact and find activity, friends, companions or romance.
- Create a database of members who I can match personally for the activities they want to find someone for.
So, who are you looking for? I tell folks, pick one or all of the options: friendship, companionship, activity partners or perhaps romance.
Then find an activity on the activities page, register and show up! It’s pretty easy here. Right now I am building up events but in time, I’ll have many free events, so there is no cost. I’ll figure out a fun way for all of those attend to meet each other and then you are all free to get phone numbers and connect later after the event.
In time, I hope to get some sponsored events so they are free to you and me, or I will have some paid events sold by Eventbrite. I’m not sure what we are doing yet. I’m exploring now. If you read this, thank you!
